If you have problems using a trainer in combination with Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10 then make sure to run the trainer with Administrator rights and when needed in Windows XP or Windows 98 compatibility mode!.In ALL cases this is a FALSE ALARM as NONE of the Game Trainers GCW contain known malicious code! Some Game Trainers are sometimes reported to be a Virus or Trojan, the most common is a keylogger called HotKeysHook or the file has been packed/protected with VMProtect or Themida and is recognized as Win32/Packed.VMProtect or Win32/Packed.Themida.In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem! Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools.When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!.When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game!

I will be feeling very let down by Microsoft if I have to dig out a 10 year old PC to play one simple game when I have just paid a good amount of money for a shiny new Windows OS laptop. Apparently I am not the only person out there searching for ways to play this game in particularĪnd also other old school windows games. If an actual Microsoft employee (definitely smarter than I and probably safer than the websites I have been searching) could get on this issue, that would be wise. The patches and p5dll file, changing resolution/graphics, etc., and nothing has worked. I have tried everything running each compatibility mode, logging in as administrator, downloading all I also recently purchased this game (used on Amazon for more than I paid for my original copy almost 15 years ago) and was really excited to play it.
